QUÉBEC FILM AND TELEVISION COUNCIL

The Québec Film and Television Council
(QFTC) has been commissioned to promote Québec. This vast territory, located in the northeastern part of North America bordering New England to the south and the Artic to the north, provides remarkably versatile filming locations. Our film industry and its extensive infrastructure ensure the availability of all the goods and services required to host any production.

The QFTC ensures that Québec is well represented at major international film festivals and markets, where contacts and business alliances are established with major industry decision makers. The Council works closely with international producers to ensure they benefit from all Québec has to offer.

The QFTC provides the following free services tailored to the individual needs of a production:

• Professional services for script breakdowns and preliminary location scouting

• Partnerships with regional film commissions for thorough location searches and access to photo libraries

• Support for producers and directors visiting Québec

• Information on producers, crew, major studios & labs, CGI houses and other key people (financial, associations, unions, etc.)

• Co-ordination with the Québec, federal, regional and municipal governments

• Assistance in creating options tailored to individual projects.
