Québec Legislation and Collective Agreements

In Québec, all Canadian and non-Canadian producers retaining the services of performing, recording and film artists are subject to Québec legislation respecting the professional status and conditions of engagement of such artists. Iin addition, all producers shooting in Québec can use the collective agreements negotiated between the Québec producers association (APFTQ) and the unions concerned by becoming a permittee member of the APFTQ or by paying an administration fee.
