ACTRA - Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists

ACTRA is a national union representing the interests of 21,000 highly acclaimed, skilled, professional performers in Canada. Producers are encouraged to cast Canadian and the rates for ACTRA performers are quite favourable. the ACTRA staff is always available to meet with members of the production staff to review the various details particular to a production.

APFTQ - Québec Film and Television Producers Association

Created 30 years ago, the APFtQ brings together more than 130 companies specializing in film and tV production. You are invited to become a permittee member of APFtQ when you shoot in Québec. once you are a permittee member, a single global fee per production enables you to use all collective agreements for technicians, actors, writers and art directors and production designers. You also receive advice and assistance in matters of labour relations, tax credits, laws and regulations in the province.
