Of the more than 150 festivals that take place every year in Québec, many celebrate film production in some form
or other. While some, like the world-renowned Montreal World Film Festival, celebrate the work of filmmakers
from around the world, others like Fantasia or the Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québécois become platforms to showcase
talent and cultural diversity, both from Québec and abroad. In essence, not only are Québec and Montreal
ideal locations to shoot movies, but they also provide an excellent opportunity to display the finished result to
an enthusiastic and responsive audience of film lovers. Please note that the following list is only a sample of the
